Job Description:
We are seeking a Software Developer/Engineer professional with an experienced background in software development and integration. This opportunity requires the ability to develop scalable and maintainable software solutions for predictive analytic algorithms/solutions. Desired candidate would be a self-starter with a desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, start-up environment. Qualifications:

Requirements:

-Software development support for implementing statistical models to healthcare datasets, based on machine learning algorithms to process datasets, pivoting one dataset into another to answer population level questions.

-Software development support to include organizing/data mining/data cleansing into standard/parse structures used for interrogating data.

-Systems Admin support to include Windows, Linux, and Hadoop cluster configuration, scalability, trouble shooting.

-Database Management support to organize/design/ingest new healthcare provided datasets.

Required Skills:

-Requires 4 to 5 years with BS/BA or 2 to 4 years with MS/MA/MBA or 10 to 12 years with a degree in the following majors: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Physics.

-Experienced, hands-on, software development skills.

-Python: pandas, scikit-learn, Numpy, Scipy, and database access packages.

-Database management / SQL / MySQL.

-Ability to design, develop, and test scalable and maintainable software solutions.

-Ability to lead, task, and effectively communicate to a small team of developers.

-Experience with development & production environments, and configuration management.

-Code Optimization experience.

-Linux (Red Hat, CentOS): python/R development, and minor admin tasks.

Desired Skills:

-Algorithm development.

-Statistics/Biostatistics/Operations Research background.

-R Language.

-Configuration management: SVN, Github.

-Development environments: Jupyter, Eclipse, Spyder , Anaconda.

-Machine learning frame works: H2O, Torch, Tensorflow; Experience with Amazon Web Services offerings.
