Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Bioinformatician to work within the LMS's Bioinformatics Team and alongside the LMS proteomics facility. An in depth knowledge of biology and bioinformatics is required. Experience in high throughput proteomics analysis, using/writing R/Bioconductor packages, bioinformatics programming (Python, Java, C++) and web programming would be highly desired. The post provides a unique opportunity to work both with leading edge experimental and bioinformatics techniques across the diversity of research topics within the LMS and in establishing the bioinformatics infrastructure necessary to maintain high quality computational proteomics research within the institute.
