The new postdoc researcher will work on one or more interesting topics in bioinformatics and computational/systems biology, including genetic mapping and epigenetics related research by analyzing large scale sequencing data and modeling. UT Dallas provides a dynamic, collaborative, and integrative research and training environment with state-of-the-art facilities. This position will be jointly supervised by Prof. Michael Zhang in Computational Biology and Prof. Min Chen in Mathematical Sciences.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should be proficient in programming and analysis of genomic data sets, and have experience working with biological systems. Candidates with an advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational and Systems Biology, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or other related fields are preferred.
Minimum Responsibilities
Conduct quantitative modeling using advanced statistical and bioinformatical techniques, methods and procedures; other duties as assigned.
