Job Description:
The University of Sheffield, together with its Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) and Medical School is launching an exciting new thrust in genome medicine. We are applying human genome sequencing, large scale health analytics and regional and national initiatives to jump start accelerated programmes in precision medicine that are already driving new discoveries.
The group includes activities in the graduate training of genome medicine, clinical translation of genomics, computational genomics, biomarker and drug target development, genome knowledge management and eHealth, and disease modelling.
We are seeking individuals who wish to join a world class team, relish a challenge, and wish to be in the vanguard of research and discovery while contributing to direct visible impacts on health.
