Job Description:
European company is recruiting a sales executive who can grow the U.S. customer base and manage existing accounts. They will work out of the company’s established St. Louis office.

This is a very unique opportunity for an individual with both Genomic/NGS experience and the ability to do Sales / Business Development. The perfect candidate will have some experience in both as well as a technical degree

Individual will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and establishing contacts with these potential customers. Previous experience and relationships with companies like Monsanto, BASF, Syngenta is very important

They will work closely with the company’s sales and R&D team located in Europe.

Individual will be expected to travel extensively nationally and some internationally meeting with potential clients and following up with customers, as well as attending key conferences and events.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

-MSc / Ph.D in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Biology / Life Sciences.

-At least five years of experience working with genomic / NGS.

-Experience in analyzing large genomic/genetic data sets.

-3+ year experience for managing a team of sales in sequencing/ lab research equipment/ software industry.

-3+ years of individual sales experience.

-Experience in Agriculture (plants & animal).

-Experience / Interaction with traditional Agriculture and/or Ag Technology companies.

-Must have Sales / Business Development experience.

-Working with/for International company a plus.

-Extensive Travel.
