Assistant Professor, Biomedical Sciences University of Northern ColoradoSchool of Biological SciencesColorado-Greeley The position is for an Assistant Professor (tenure track), nine month appointment. We seek a candidate with a Doctorate, at least two years of research experience past the doctorate, and expertise in an area of biomedical sciences including but not limited to genomics, bioinformatics, molecular, or cellular biology sufficient to add to and collaborate with current expertise in the school. The job duties include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Biology; training graduate students; providing service for the school, college, university, and community; conducting research and publishing original research results; applying for grants. The candidate must have the ability to teach lectures and laboratories for undergraduate students and graduate students in the biomedical sciences, and the ability to direct undergraduate and graduate students in research. The individual will be expected to solicit external funding to support an active research program and contribute to service duties. Minimum Qualifications:--Doctorate in Biology or related field
