Job Description:
We're building a secure, HIPAA compliant data lake enabling the data scientists at pulseData and our clients to explore, gain insight and make predictions.

As a member of pulseData you will be helping us build, deploy and monitor the infrastructure necessary to store, organize, transform and analyze the health care data for millions of patients.

  • You’ll have teammates fluent in bioinformatics, quantitative trading, deep learning, language processing and model building

You will:
  • Build pipelines for data ingestion, processing, storage, and access
  • Design, implement, and maintain required infrastructure (VM's, containers, cluster management tools, networking) to automate deployment pipeline
  • Build and maintain tools for deployment, logging, monitoring and operations
  • Perform security audits to ensure sensitive data protection
  • Deliver best practices, guidance, and support for Infrastructure As Code (IaC)
We’ll ask you to demonstrate:
  • Programming expertise (Python and Scala preferred)
  • Deep Linux and systems understanding
  • Experience in a cloud environments i.e. AWS, Azure, GCE
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
  • Docker/Kubernetes knowledge a strong plus
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an engineer, developer, programmer in a production software environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science strongly preferred
