Job Description:
We are now seeking an experienced Bioinformatician, with a background in genomics/next-generation sequencing, to join our talented team, based at the Genome Science Division at the King’s Buildings facility. The successful candidate will write and maintain software and use it to process and analyse data from customer projects across a wide range of technologies. You will enjoy the challenges of working in a busy, fast-paced and technology leading environment. An MSc and/or equivalent experience in informatics, bioinformatics or computing applied to biological sciences and experience in programming are essential. Experience of bioinformatics support in a service delivery role is desirable. The post is fixed term for 24 months.
