Job Description:
Apex Life Sciences has an immediate Bioinformatician need with a leading client near East Haven, CT!

The successful Bioinformatician will have a Master’s Degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or computer sciences and have 1+ years’ experience in bioinformatics in an industrial, academic, or government laboratory.

Experience and Required Skills:

  • Knowledge in NGS
  • Programming skills/proficient in programing languages including Perl/Python, R, SQL and shell scripting
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Experience in working in a clinical laboratory environment is preferred
EDUCATION:
  • Master in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer sciences or equivalent in Life Sciences discipline
  • 1+ years of experience in bioinformatics in an industrial, academic, or government laboratory
