Milton Park, Oxfordshire Immunocore Limited, just south of Oxford, UK, is an innovative and dynamic biotechnology company developing a unique platform of T Cell antigen receptor-based therapeutics, called ImmTACs, as a novel class of treatments for cancer. With four major partnerships with Genentech, GlaxoSmithKline, MedImmune and Eli Lilly, and with our first drug candidate in clinical trials, we are seeking to expand the Biomarker team. Bioinformatician- Biomarker discovery With the recent significant expansion of our clinical development portfolio and associated expansion of our biomarker activities we are now looking for an experienced bioinformatician to support our innovative and multi-disciplined Biomarker research team. Key Responsibilities: • Building and developing Immunocore’s bioinformatics capabilities to support the biomarker and wider clinical team with data management and integrated multivariate data analysis, including systems and pathway analysis; • Working closely with biomarker and clinical colleagues to integrate and interrogate multi-factorial biomarker data (including proteomic, transcriptomic and genomic data) with clinical data in order to: o continue to develop an understanding of the mechanism of action of ImmTAC therapeutics (and the ImmTAC platform generally) o inform the potential for novel combination therapy strategies o develop predictive/prognostic biomarkers o inform the analysis of pipeline ImmTACs Qualifications: Suitable candidates should have a relevant PhD or equivalent experience. Excellent programming, computing and database skills are essential. Experience of biomarker research, preferably in the cancer immunotherapy field, is desirable.
