Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to solve scientific problems and transfer knowledge between laboratory and clinical studies to improve our preclinical pipeline and ultimately treatment efficacy for patients. Alongside experimental design and implementation of high-throughput computational analyses, the successful candidate will work closely throughout the wide scope of the Translational Sciences group and alongside other internal departments. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in supporting the development of novel biological technologies to aid patients. The successful candidate will work with a range of data sources including patient and in house derived data to facilitate and drive the translational research functions of the company. The position will analyze internal clinical sample datasets along with public databases to discover biomarkers predictive of response or failure to SPEAR T cell therapy, and inform on key resistance mechanisms for combination therapies selection. Candidate will be expected to apply and compare various published gene expression signatures (for example, IO resistance signatures, tumor and immune cell signatures etc.) and build novel signatures of response or resistance to SPEAR T cell therapy. This hands on role will apply computer programming methodologies, statistics, and mathematics to analyze and interpret biological data.
