Job Description:
the Bioinformatics Analyst at EDP Biotech , is an important part of a diverse team of Scientists. This group is responsible for hands-on scientific lab experiments and operational support of the current development and manufacturing of our portfolio of products in the laboratory under GLP. This position while also assisting with the scientific lab experiments, will mainly focus on the process of reviewing, analyzing, documenting, and presenting clinical and scientific data from lab work conducted. This role will also work in assisting, developing, creating and/or managing a data algorithm and potential software or applications for our products either with our internal team and/or with external partners. REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in a bioinformatics, computational biology, chemical, physical, computer science, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution; and have at least 2 years of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a bioinformatics, computational biology, chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution; and have at least 4 years of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing.
- One to three years’ experience in a professional or technical capacity in a laboratory, blood services, or pharmaceutical manufacturing, including significant exposure to the regulatory requirements affecting that discipline or activity.
- Familiarity with regulated disciplines in an IVD, laboratory setting or a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with applications of information technology in computer science in the area of biology and how to study, analyze and process data.
