BIOINFORMATICS ANALYST I, School of Medicine, Computational Biomedicine

Job Description:
The main purpose of this position is to perform computational data inference (i.e. gain meaningful insights) by applying existing computational methods and packages to newly generated datasets.

Essential Functions:

• Perform computational analysis and inference on datasets using previously established methods. 60% time
• Perform basic quality control analysis of data using previously established protocols and pipelines. 30% time
• Communicate results and progress to PI and aid in writing of scientific publications. 10% time

1-3 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
