In this role, you will be a key contributor to the engineering team, while having the opportunity to develop & enhance our bioinformatics pipelines. These pipelines analyze large data sets from high-throughput sequencing technologies to determine authenticity and detect anomalies. Responsibilities:

These pipelines analyze large data sets from high-throughput sequencing technologies to determine authenticity and detect anomalies. Responsibilities:
- Develop analysis pipeline for new market-disrupting product
- Enhance and maintain robust and automated pipelines analysing NGS data fast with high accuracy
- Evaluate third-party tools and libraries we may wish to leverage in our pipelines
- Operate, monitor and support production analysis pipeline runs
- Work closely with our science and product team to help define product enhancements, spec technical requirements, and develop project plans
- B.S. in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience developing algorithms processing high-throughput next-generation sequencing (HTS/NGS)
- Comfortable working in cloud environments, ideally AWS
- Proven development experience with one object-oriented language, ideally Python
- Proficiency with SQL and UNIX shells
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with engineers and product marketers
- Ability to work independently and know when to ask for help in a fast paced and high performing environment
