Job Description:
Senti Bio is seeking a talented data analytics scientist/engineer to spearhead data management of our synthetic biology platform. A successful applicant will have experience building databases and interfaces for biological data, an analytical mindset to quickly extract relevant insights from data sets, and be able to work collaboratively across various functional groups to meet milestones. Applicants should have current knowledge of bioinformatics and data science and familiarity with molecular and cell biology workflows. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the future of “smart therapeutics” and have the energy and boldness to thrive and grow in a dynamic and fast environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage data coming off Senti’s synthetic biology screening platform
  • Build data visualization interfaces and tools to allow internal scientists to quickly view and compare parameters and results on generated data
  • Work with scientific teams to optimize data reporting methods to improve throughput, efficiency, and robustness
  • Develop analytical methods from generated data to derive insight and improve therapeutic candidate design
  • Lead projects to integrate data from multiple sources, including instrumentation, electronic notebooks and spreadsheets, and statistical analysis platforms
  • Lead and build a data analytics capability within the company, both in matrixed teams and in a dedicated group
