Job Description:
The main role of the Bioinformatics Scientist will be to conduct exploratory bioinformatics data analysis projects in a timely manner. The responsibilities will range from data management and data analysis to the generation of analysis reports for Quartz Bio customers. The Bioinformatics Scientist will be fully integrated in the Clinical Bioinformatics team and, as such, will participate to the development of the corporate computational analysis platform. The successful candidate must comply with Quartz Bio quality management system, in particular in terms of data confidentiality, data security, reporting and documentation. Skills:

- Open, collaborative and dynamic mindset, ability to work in team in enterprise
- Ph.D. or Master in bioinformatics, specialised in data analysis of one of the following biotechnological platforms: next-generation sequencing, microarray, proteomics, flow cytometry, metabolomics
- 0-2 years professional experience post-Ph.D./Master
- Good knowledge of the human molecular biology. Knowledge of a specific therapeutic area such as Oncology an asset.
- Excellent programming skills in R are a must. Other statistical programming languages (SAS, Matlab) an asset.
- Good knowledge of statistics
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments. Knowledge of code versioning software programs an asset.
- Fluent in English.
