Qualifications:
- B.S. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science or a closely related discipline
- M.S. preferred. An ideal combination would be one degree in bioinformatics and one degree in computer science.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a sequencing center/group.
- Experience developing software in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile.
- Expert knowledge of Python.
- Experience working with databases (SQL).
- Experience with Open Source bioinformatics tools such as bwa/mem, Picard, SAMtools, etc.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Experience working on AWS (Cloud) is a plus. - Knowledge of R is a plus.
- Knowledge of Shiny Apps is a plus.
- Experience working in a Linux environment including scripting

Responsibilities:
- Help design and automate next generation sequencing pipelines
- Write well constructed, tested and documented Python code calling Open Source bioinformatics tools
- Construct and manage databases
- Test, evaluate, and document Client software applications
- Populate databases with existing data

Requeriments :
