Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, computer science and/or life science required
- Experience in genomics analysis, next generation sequencing, and pipeline/database development
- Proficient in Python and Linux usage
- Background in statistics and/or machine learning preferred
- Familiarity with microbiology, infectious disease, and/or molecular biology a strong plus
- Strong communication skills (verbal and technical) required
- Detail oriented with ability to execute complex protocols
- Desire and drive to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative early stage company
- Team oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to self-educate in current bioinformatics techniques and resources
