Job Description:
We are seeking a talented, innovative and highly motivated Bioinformatics pipeline developer with experience in implementing bioinformatics workflow methods for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data, preferably in a workflow framework like Galaxy or Rabix/CWL etc.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will actively contribute to the pipeline by integrating various methods for NGS derived antibodies.
  • Develop scripts that take the outputs from NGS machines like Illumina-MiSeq to various Bioinformatics sequence based algorithms for integration and analyses.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology, or in Molecular Biology or in Immunology, Life Sciences, or related discipline with extensive experience in Bioinformatics (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Experience with NGS Bioinformatics pipelines, preferably within a framework like Galaxy
  • Proficiency with Bioinformatics algorithms, software and sequence databases
  • Extensive experience in scripting languages, mainly Python (including numpy, scipy, pandas, IPython/Jupyter, or Django)
  • “R” for data analyses
  • Experience with software development tools like GIT, JIRA and Bitbucket
  • Hands-on projects encompassing genetics, genomics and drug discovery
  • SQL/NOSQL databases is nice to have
  • Knowledge of antibodies in drug discovery process is a nice to have skill set

  • Attention to detail, quality and documentation
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Self-organized and Managed individual with utmost care for work product delivery
Required experience:
  • GS Bioinformatics pipelines, preferably within a framework l: 1 year
  • Bioinformatics algorithms, software and sequence databases: 1 year
  • Coding in Python and R: 1 year
  • Masters or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology,: 1 year
  • software development tools like GIT, JIRA and Bitbucket: 1 year
