Job Description:
Multiple bioinformatics positions for postdoc or research associate are available immediately in the Kaifu Chen Lab affiliated with Houston Methodist Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University.

The candidates will have freedom to choose from a variety of bioinformatics topics on the basis of their major research interests. These include RNA methylation, lncRNA, chromatin 3D structure (Hi-C), RNA splicing, RNA Polyadenylation, histone modifications, DNA methylation, and transcription factor bindings. These researches will be conducted with particular interest in cancer diseases, stem cell differentiation, and regenerative medicine.

Strong candidate can be a PhD or Master with computational biology, biostatistics, biophysics, or other related background. The researches could be developing computational algorithms or biomedical databases, inventing statistical methods, or combining cutting-edge bioinformatics technologies to make biomedical discovery in the next generation sequencing data. Successful candidate will have many opportunities to collaborate with fantastic wet-bench biologists and physician scientists.
