Job Description:
A bioinformatician research contractor is invited. Localized therapeutics is doing basic academic research in biophysics of chromatin. The contractor's work will import the chromatin accessibility genomic maps from public databases, run genome-wide alignments, program and analyze full chromosome sequences using custom algorithms and adjust analysis parameters based on results. If results are published you would be included in the publication. The contractor will meet with us weekly either in person in La Jolla or via video skype. Since it is a novel research project, the work plan will require adjustments based on results. Ability to automate genome-wide analyses is required.
