Arrayo is looking for motivated Project Managers that are enthusiastic about user experience optimization. We are expanding our Project Manager Practice in our Cambridge and Boston offices. We are looking for talented Project Managers with Bioinformatics, AWS, NGS, Cloud experience. We are hiring full time and half time. AWS (NGS) leaders who are executing projects in a fast paced digital world requires a strong delivery focus, and rigorous change management. We love Bioinformatics, AWS, DevOps with a Science or Life Science background and education. Your challenge will be to design new provisioning and configuration management to move away from legacy CM platform, as well as design new environments and new deployments as requirements arise. As a Bioinformatics Project Manager with Arrayo you will deploy software into environments to run the business - both internal systems and public web sites. You will also help evolve deployment and provisioning models to support the move into containerized deployments. This leading position in our AWS/NGS/Cloud Practie will own the roadmap for an existing development team to get used to work with HPC and AWS. This includes operational and architectural aspects. The person will have full accountability for all applications to run in the cloud. The ideal candidate will work closely with the entire engineering organization and should have enough experience to work effectively on a small team making big decisions that will affect the future of the company. Responsibilities: .Working on solutions to move to an automated infrastructure using Chef, Jenkins and AWS. Setting up environments on AWS using HPC, SparkleFormation and Chef policy files. .Wrote chef cookbooks for PHP, Java and NodeJS Applications. .Setting up complex environments which include Load Balancers, Application Servers and DB servers using Chef and AWS. .Using AWS security groups and iptables to keep the environments secure. Familiar with AWS services like EC2, ELB, S3, VPC, EBS, IAM etc Using knife and test kitchen to test cookbooks locally before deploying to AWS environments. .Code reviews through github's PR feature. Using Chef Repo to manage roles, environments and data bags. Writng integration tests for chef recipes using serverspec. .Part of a team which planned and executed migration from a traditional data center to AWS cloud. · Architect and manage the release workflow and live deployments, through continuous delivery system · Shape next generation platforms · Automate everything using Chef · Design of new infrastructure systems · Continuously improve visibility into the systems and applications with advanced monitoring, metrics and log analytics · Deploy software projects, HPC to AWS Qualification: · You get things done. Good Project Management skills, · You’re not afraid to learn from failure Some knowledge of networking hardware is useful, but not required. This is primarily a devops/cloud-oriented position. · Strong understanding of Chef. · Experience with public cloud systems, AWS preferred. · Strong desire to learn and grow . HPC infrastructure .
