We recruit Bioinformatics researchers working for immune repertoire (NGS of T- and B-cell receptors) analysis and the algorithm development for biomarker discovery. The researchers should be quick learners, as they need to smoothly communicate with experimental and clinical researchers. Since individuals in the company have different backgrounds, the applicants have to be team players and good communicators.

Job details
We look for researchers to work on: - Development of Bioinformatics algorithms and the analysis of high throughput sequencing data such as immune repertoires and RNA-seq. - Integration of 3D structure with sequence information - Discoveries of biomarkers and therapeuticsQualifications
Requirements: - Expertise to conduct research independently (At least one first author paper) - Experiences of analyzing NGS data (RNA-seq is required) - Programing skills: Perl/Python/R/SQL on Linux environment (Not necessarily all of them, but able to implement pipelines by themselves) - Experience with machine learning and data mining. - Experience developing algorithms and implementing them as practical tools - Strong mathematics background, especially in statistics - Ability to communicate in English. (Communication in KOTAI will be conducted in English) - Interests in interdisciplinary research and experimental and clinical Immunologies Preferences: - Experiences of discovery and/or development of clinical biomarkers (Cancer or autoimmune diseases are preferable) - Knowledge in Immunology. - Ph.D. degree We welcome applicants with backgrounds other than Biology such as Computational Physics and Informatics. Compensation: The compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and training. Working hours: 9am-5:30pm (Discretionary) Compensation includes weekly working hours (40 hours) and 16 hours of monthly holiday work is included.
