Job Description:
PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology with a minimum of 2 years’ experience or equivalent required.

RBW have partnered with a patient-focused biotechnology to find bioinformaticians at a junior, principal, and team lead level.

Reporting to the Head of Bioinformatics, you will be joining a team of 6 bioinformaticians in the Immunology and Oncology teams.

Tasks And Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting complex biological information to perform tasks to reduce and consolidate output from various databases.
  • Preparing data for utilization by other scientists.
  • Analysis of both pre-clinical and clinical data sets including RNA-Seq, Exome and Whole Genome Sequencing, single cell sequencing and high throughput proteomics to nominate novel drug targets, enable patient enrichment strategies, and prioritize combination therapies.

  • Monitors and queries new data from both internal and public databases to satisfy quality control criteria.

Requirements:
  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology with a minimum of 2 years’ experience or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale Omics and high though put data analysis, network analysis, and meta analyses.
  • Familiar with public domain data sources.
  • Experience in algorithm generation and/or computational method implementation.
  • Strong scientific understanding of molecular biology and genomics. Working knowledge with bioinformatics studies of Immunogenomics, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge in statistical software and language (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
  • Familiarity with parallel computing, database (e.g., SQL)
