Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for developing design strategies to selectively detect pathogenic microorganisms and other specialized assay design projects

· Develop, maintain and operate pipelines for assay design on the basis of sequence composition, thermodynamic parameters, and analyze genomic annotations and performing sequence comparisons to identify assay targets and anti-targets

· Work closely with experimental researchers and other members of the Bioinformatics team to develop strategies on experimental design and data interpretation for laboratory research.

· Analyze sequence data and mine public databases for sequence content.

· Partner with internal and external domain experts

· Prepare technical reports and publications to support resulting products and methods, adhering to coding and documentation standards and managing deliverables for area of responsibility.
