Job Description:
Data capture, collection, analytics drive scientific decisions and we are seeking the best of the best in bioinformatics to join our team in Chesterfield, MO.

Bioinformatics, Data Scientist to conduct extensive analysis and report to management on key findings of market research initiatives conducted for major biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare organizations. This position offers the opportunity to work in the world’s largest field testing research pipeline, delivering smarter systems and processes to deliver novel products to market.

Bioinformatics, Data Scientist Responsibilities:

  • Data-driven logistics is foundational in driving this site’s pipeline to deliver products from early discovery phase through launch.
  • Candidates with a strong background in data handling/processing and demonstrated ability to implement workflow solutions are highly desired for this position.
  • Support to the varietal breeders and the North America Testing group.
  • Utilize current processes and assist in identifying areas for further automation - working with our logistics partners to deliver crop pipelines.
Bioinformatics, Data Scientist Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Understanding of database systems and management of large data sets
  • Experience with visualization tools (Spotfire) to generate reports and view data; accessing and working with databases (Composite, APIs, SQL)
  • Previous experience setting up research trials
