Roles and Responsibilities: As our Bioinformatics Scientist, you will responsible for developing algorithms for analyzing high throughput sequencing data. Your specific areas of accountability in this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop quality metrics and evaluate bioinformatics algorithms and models based on large datasets.
- Implement data analysis components in OOP languages.
- Improve existing analysis pipeline and update databases for linkage disequilibrium and reference sequences.
- Collaborate with internal/external researchers to validate the HLA typing software.
- Present results from validation and collaboration studies at conferences and trade shows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics or other related field
- 2+ years’ experience working in Bioinformatics capacity in related industry
