Job Description:
We seek a highly motivated and talented Bioinformatics Scientist to develop NGS pipelines and analyze clinical NGS data in diagnostics and precision medicine.

The candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and have high standards and accountability on quality of deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the NGS pipelines, bioinformatics and analytical algorithms
  • Analyze deep sequencing NGS data in oncology diagnostics and treatment
  • Work closely with members of the bioinformatics group and wet-lab research scientists to develop and validate the performance of production systems.
  • Participate as a team member on data analysis tasks
Who you are:

  • PhD or MS (3+ years experience) in bioinformatics or other computational fields
  • Proficiency in R/Python and experienced with R/Bioconductor and bash script languages.
  • Familiar with C/C++ is a plus.
  • Familiar with the data analysis in liquid biopsy is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a cloud computing environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of genomics data and resources is a plus.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are a must.
