We seek a highly motivated and talented Bioinformatics Scientist to develop NGS pipelines and analyze clinical NGS data in diagnostics and precision medicine. The candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and have high standards and accountability on quality of deliverables. Responsibilities:
- Develop the NGS pipelines, bioinformatics and analytical algorithms
- Analyze deep sequencing NGS data in oncology diagnostics and treatment
- Work closely with members of the bioinformatics group and wet-lab research scientists to develop and validate the performance of production systems.
- Participate as a team member on data analysis tasks
- PhD or MS (3+ years experience) in bioinformatics or other computational fields
- Proficiency in R/Python and experienced with R/Bioconductor and bash script languages.
- Familiar with C/C++ is a plus.
- Familiar with the data analysis in liquid biopsy is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a cloud computing environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of genomics data and resources is a plus.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are a must.
