Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity for a Bioinformatician with data analytics and strong programming skills to be responsible for supporting commercial product development and play a key role in the integration of new methods into our computational pipeline. This position will involve cross-functional teamwork to optimize assays in development and support the setup of quality analysis methods to ensure proper testing of products.   RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Research and Development team by analyzing immunosequencing results to optimize the performance of assays.
  • Participate in the establishment of quality analysis protocols.
  • Communicate analyses results and interpretation to a mix of research, clinical, and business teams.
  • Collaborate with current computer biosciences, bioinformatics, and pipeline teams to build analysis tools.
  • Implement and evaluate new algorithms into production pipeline

Responsabilidades clave

  • Master’s degree in relevant field and 5 years’ experience, preferably some industry experience and PhD a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of mathematics and statistical methods and proficiency using statistical analysis software or libraries such as R.
  • Experience with a general scripting language such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
  • Experience working with Next Generation Sequencing data.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Spotfire, Tableau, R, Python)
  • Experience with an object-oriented language such as Java, C++ or C# and familiarity with standard software development best practices: source code control, unit testing, in-code documentation and automated build environments
  • Strong technical background in molecular biology, genomics, next generation sequencing or immunology a plus.
  • Excellent listening, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to illustrate problems and generate solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excited about an early stage company environment that may require greater self-sufficiency.
