Bioinformatics Specialists

Job Description:
You will work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with other bioinformaticians and biologists in implementing heterogeneous databases, web interfaces and analytical pipelines for high throughput data analysis and interpretation to address important biological questions.

Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics/Statistics/Computer Science/Biology or any relevant scientific/engineering/mathematical discipline
• Background in scripting languages, Perl, Unix programming is essential
• Experience with higher level programming language C/C++/JAVA and building web interfaces
• Able to design and implement databases with mySQL or Oracle.
• Good understanding of biology and statistics
• Working experience with biological data, sequence data analysis, phylogenetic or data mining
• A good team player
