Job Description:
Well-known Pharmaceutical Company in cutting edges is looking for a System Administrator. Their business is driven by data, and the Bioinformatics. The Company Research engages department maintains a centralized computational environment for data analysis. The environment includes multiple, unified deployments of R which are integrated with an automated test/build/deploy system for internally authored R packages. They also provide automated deployment mechanisms for Shiny apps and are looking to do the same for dynamic reports. They are looking for a contractor to assist with the management and deployment of R and R-related infrastructure in their computing environment. Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in operating and developing software deployment systems and related infrastructure. -Experience encapsulating jobs via Bash or other scripting languages. -Familiarity with Jenkins or similar job automation software. -Experience in building and deploying software in a Linux server environment, including managing library dependencies and C/C++ compiler/linker configurations. -Experience in creating simple, dynamic web-pages. -Familiarity with R is a plus.
