The MRC Clinical Sciences Centre is a leading MRC Research Institute based at the Hammersmith Campus of Imperial College, London and conducts wide-ranging programmes in basic, applied and clinical research.
The Genes and Metabolism Section of the CSC wishes to build on and strengthen its current expertise by recruiting candidates who have a strong research record in the following areas:
– neural regulation of metabolism (IRC191634) : innovative approaches to understanding how the nervous system influences metabolism and its disorders.
– metabolic physiology (IRC191613): understanding the roles of peripheral tissues, the endocrine system and the immune system in the control of metabolism.
