The Computational Biologist will be responsible for:

Collaborating with bioinformaticians, scientists, and clinicians to design and perform analyses and model tumor biology, including analyses of pathways, regulatory networks and sequencing data.

To qualify, you must have…

-Demonstrated expertise in statistical methods in data analysis, preferably with applications to large-scale sequencing data is required.

-Great organizational skills

-Attention to detail

-Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

A unique opportunity to join a start-up clinical pediatric molecular diagnostics laboratory which will provide a wide range of testing services in the area of molecular genetics/pathology employing a variety of state-of- the-art molecular biology methods. The lab is primarily focused on the detection of somatic genetic alterations in pediatric tumors and tumor-like conditions.
