Job Description:
The Computational Biologist will be primarily responsible for applying computational pipelines to streamline the analysis for a variety of translational datasets including those from single cell RNA-sequencing, whole exome/genome DNA sequencing, and RNA sequencing technologies. The incumbent will use skills in bioinformatics and computational biology to build novel approaches to gain insights into complex biological and clinical datasets. The Computational Biologist interprets data and analyzes results using predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis and other techniques to develop reports and deploy solutions. Designs and implements data collection systems and other methods ensuring data integrity and statistical accuracy. He/She will collects and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources, extract and identify relevant information from databases and systems and will mine and interpret results.

This is a grant funded position.

Required Skills:

1-3 years of experience and Master's degree required.
