Job Description:
The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) is inviting applications for Assistant, Associate and full Professors in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology research at our Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine campus in Farmington, Connecticut.

We are seeking outstanding faculty pursuing research in computational biology or bioinformatics in the following example areas of interest:

  • Visualization capabilities with Big Data or high-dimensional biomedical data sets
  • Genome or transcriptome assembly using next generation sequencing data, including long-read technologies
  • Chromatin assembly and 4D genome regulation
  • Microbiology and Single Cell analysis applications
  • Software engineering and applications to biomedical research
