Job Description:
Cerner’s Population Health Organization is seeking a Data Analyst to develop and execute datasets for analyzing, validating, and improving Cerner’s research data solutions through data mining and sound statistical methods. The associate works closely with both business stakeholders, consulting teams, and clients to ensure high fidelity of datasets and exploration tools are delivered for analysis.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, computer science, mathematics, economics, epidemiology or related field
  • Experience with SAS
  • Experience developing and performing statistical analysis strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of professional experience with one or more statistical analysis environments, such as SAS, R, SPSS, MATLAB
  • Exposure to or involvement in academic/government funded research projects
  • Experience or familiarity with software development teams and process
  • Experience working with Cerner Millennium, either working with Cerner Millennium software development or consulting with clients around clinical workflows
  • Working knowledge of relational database
  • Familiar with Informatics
  • Familiar with Clinical Research
Expectations:
  • Ability to work overtime and irregular hours as needed
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
