Job Description:
We’ve built a strong research group and are looking for talented Data Scientists with applied experience on large datasets to join us. This role is best suited for data scientists interesting in designing and analyzing medical image datasets while having a direct and immense, real-world impact.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll work alongside other research scientists, software engineers and a world-class clinical team to help develop a new suite of “intelligent” medical products.
  • You’ll construct and curate large-scale medical image datasets.
  • You’ll help design analysis plans for clinical studies for evaluating our machine learning products.
  • You’ll provide dataset-driven insights that improve our machine learning algorithms.
  • You’ll write scripts to ingest and evaluate incoming data from our clinical partners.
  • You’ll analyze the quality and reliability of medical image annotations and help guide strategy for improving the data annotation process.
  • You’ll develop automated solutions for large-scale, patient-facing, clinical problems.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, bioinformatics, computer science, mathematics, physics).
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Julia, M, pandas) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Exposure to, or a strong desire to learn about, deep learning.
  • Large data analysis and visualization experience.
Good to have:
  • MS or PhD in statistics, data science or related field.
  • Several years of relevant work experience (e.g., as a statistician , data scientist, etc).
  • Applied experience with machine learning on large datasets.
