Job Description:
Precision is a specialized service provider engineered specifically to address the emerging needs of next generation life science companies. Duties and Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the resident expert for development, project specific implementation, and maintenance of Precision’s PATH Platform TM . Furthermore, you will support the advancement and implementation of machine learning, artificial intelligence and systems biology approaches for use on biomarker and clinical data.
Lead development for components of the PATH Platform in accordance with the PATH development plan Lead and support UI advancements for data delivery, collaboration and visualization Support integration of various complex data sources into PATH (e.g., next-generation sequencing or flow cytometry data) Support integration of various genomics, immunomics and bioinformatics workflows into PATH Support integration of contextual knowledge databases into PATH Contribute to the scientific advancement of precision medicine to improve patient outcomes Maintain the PATH infrastructure on Amazon Web Services Develop project specific web applications Create and maintain validation documentation Carry out all activities in accordance with Precision SOPs Other duties as assigned by management
Position Qualifications
Education
Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in one of the following fields: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science
Experience Required
2+ years of experience in front-end and user interface development 2+ years of experience in R programming Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and scripting languages (e.g. shell, perl) Experience in D3.JS based JavaScript libraries and/or other frontend charting library An understanding of the principles of UI design and development towards a unique user experience Experience with source code management systems such as GIT Experience with genomic data and / or public databases (e.g. TCGA, dbGaP) desired Experience with managing complex data desired Ability to work efficiently under Unix/Linux environment Experience with Amazon Web Services desired Solid understanding of quantitative disciplines and advanced analytics (statistics, simulation, optimizations, etc.) desired

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team player contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment Extended work hours may be required to meet business demands
