Human Longevity, Inc. is looking for a DevOps Engineer to provide cloud-based support and solutions to various internal departments (Software, Bioinformatics, Sequencing, etc.) to meet evolving business needs. This person will work heavily within AWS Cloud and will work with a team staying at the forefront NGS and Data Analytics technologies. Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Onboard teams to DevOps/DevSecOps pipeline
- Utilize open source tools such as Hashicorp Suite (packer, terraform, consul, etc.)
- Advocate best practices, including Agile methodologies, e.g., Scrum and Kanban
- Manage continuous integration platform and artifact repositories
- Automate deployments to AWS with Chef/OpsWorks
- Provision and maintain Amazon resources using infrastructure code
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Enterprise grade experience building DevOps pipelines
- Experience in a DevOps role using advanced functions of AWS
- Expertise with continuous integration using TeamCity, Jenkins, or equivalent
- Expertise with artifact management using Artifactory or Nexus
- Expertise with dependency management using NuGet, Maven or PiPy
- Experience with Cloudformation, Opsworks, and CodeDeploy
- Proficient with Chef, Powershell, Ansible, and Bash scripting
- Software development experience using Python, or other scripting language
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical domains
- Self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
- Experience with very large datasets
- Solid understanding of OOP
- Versed in Information Security such as web application firewalls, infrastructure security, static analysis tools, etc.Proficient with Regular Expression
- Cost and Resource management with Cloudability
- Log Analysis with SumoLogic or Splunk
- Experience with systems monitoring and alerting
- Rest webservice development
- Experience in a regulated and HIPAA compliant environment
- Open office environment
- Global environment with multiple sites, which may require work beyond standard business hours
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending and kneeling
- Must be able to lift and transport at least 25 pounds
