Job Description:
The Noble Foundation Computing Services department is looking for a leader for its Enterprise & Computing Research Infrastructure team. This team manages a modern, highly-virtualized data center and is responsible for all server, storage, telecommunications, and network systems. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, have great interpersonal and communication skills, enjoy leading a team and mentoring personal growth, have experience handling vendor/consultant relationships, and have expertise with system security.
Why would you want to join us? The Computing Services department is not your typical IT group. Camaraderie is one of our core values so you know we love working together. Combine that with a pursuit of excellence and a passion for what we are doing and you will know what we are about. Our department is responsible for not just traditional IT services, but bioinformatics and research support, spatial technology, plus library and information management services. The infrastructure you help provide will support everything from robotics to RNA sequencing to UAVs and other sensor data collection systems. But the very best part is that you will be making a meaningful contribution to an organization with a vision to be a recognized leader in improving agricultural production.
