Job Description:
The Department of Plant Molecular Biology (http://www.unil.ch/dbmv) wishes to strengthen its activities in biochemical and structural biology approaches that bridge the scales of high resolution molecular analyses with functional analyses in planta. We are looking for outstanding individuals with an excellent track record and research expertise in these areas.
The successful candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized research programme and to obtain competitive grants from external sources.
The Department has excellent experimental facilities, including state-of-the-art plant growth facilities and access to the latest imaging, proteomics, genomics and bioinformatics platforms. A start-up package as well as continued core funding for positions and consumables will be available within a dynamic research environment.
The selected candidate will supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, and participate in teaching activities by the Department.
