Job Description:
This position will teach in the Graduate Programs in Analytics and Data Science, including the Masters of Science in Analytics and Data Science and Graduate Certificates in Analytics and Data Science, in person and online. They will have a home department in one of the University’s Colleges. The Graduate programs in Analytics and Data Science are interdisciplinary and reside at the Graduate College.

Candidates will be responsible for developing new programs, conducting a record of high impact, peer-reviewed scholarship, serving on department, college and university committees; advising students and conducting service appropriate to their field and departmental affiliation.

The programs, candidate and the home department will work collaboratively to determine the candidate’s teaching assignments, research expectations, and service requirements.

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in an area related to Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Econometrics, Physics, Engineering or other related field.
  • Candidates must have evidence of successful teaching experience and research engagement, preferably in multidisciplinary settings.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Data Science methods and practical experience are highly valued.
