Field Bioinformatician – APAC – Pacific Biosciences – Pacific, MO

Job Description:
PacBio is seeking a Bioinformatician in a customer focused environment to support our Asia Pacific operations. This position is a multifaceted position requiring hands on NGS data analysis experience along with software installation and troubleshooting experience.

Skills Required:
• Next Generation Sequencing or Microarray data analysis experience.
• Customer Support experience - troubleshooting software installations, helping with data analysis projects and trainings.
• Hands on experience in PERL, Python and SHELL scripting.
• Hands on experience with HPC, Clusters and networking.
• Master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, or PhD in Bioinformatics / Genomics or related disciplines with hands on experience.

Travel: At least 30% travel (could be more as required).

Requeriments :

• Doctorate Degree
• M.Sc. or higher Degree in Bioinformatics
• M.Sc. or higher Degree in Computer Science
