The Babraham Institute is a charity which is world renowned for its research in life sciences to enhance lives and improve wellbeing.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual to join our growing Flow Cytometry Core Facility here at the Babraham Institute as a Flow Cytometry Assistant or Flow Cytometry Specialist. The core facility is equipped with state of the art machines and is situated within a growing research campus that is home to the Institute and over 50 companies.
The post holder will assist the Head of the Facility in providing a smooth and reliable cell sorting and analysis service to researchers. This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop a career in cytometry.
Candidates should have prior experience of flow cytometry and depending upon their experience will be employed as either a Flow Cytometry Assistant (training will be provided) and subject to key areas being met, will then be promoted to ‘Flow Cytometry Specialist. However, candidates with substantial experience in Flow Cytometry, preferably including experience in Cell Sorting will be employed as a ‘Flow Cytometry Specialist’.
