Front-End Software Engineer (cBioPortal: Open Source Cancer Genomics)Dana-Farber Cancer InstituteKnowledge Systems GroupUSA-MA-Boston The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a Front-End Software Engineer to help build open-source software for cancer genomics and precision cancer medicine. A major part of this position is to contribute to the continued open source development of the cBioPortal for Cancer Genomics (http://cbioportal.org).

The Front-End Software Engineer is an exceptional candidate who has extensive web application development experience and a passion for open-source software development. Required skills:

* Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related field.
* 3+ years of front-end web application experience.
* Expert knowledge of Javascript and Angular JS.
* Data visualization in D3.
* User interaction design and data visualization.
* Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS.
* Portfolio of web application work including Angular JS.
