We have an exciting opportunity for a highly talented, motivated professional to join our team as a Genetic Data Analyst located in DeForest, Wisconsin. This position will be responsible for large-scale data manipulation, statistical data analysis and scientific computing programming, as well as uploading and extracting data from the database, and monitoring and maintaining the database. The Genetic Data Analyst will also run routine statistical analysis, and develop tools, pipeline and applications to support acquisition, access and analysis of data. They will manage, monitor and submit jobs to the HPC cluster and enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems. This position will also process, clean and verify the integrity of data used for analysis, complete ad-hoc analysis to present in a clear manner and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. - M.S. in Biostatistics, Computational Sciences or related field. PhD in applied science, preferred.
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Good programming skills in Python, R, FORTRAN, SQL or similar languages.
- Experience in data analysis and manipulation of computational biology data.
- Experience in HPC environments desirable.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Data oriented personality with good communication skills.
