Job Description:
Medidata has developed a Clinical Trial Genomics solution for the capture, integration, and analysis of genomic data in the context of a clinical trial that enables our customers to identify actionable insights from their genomic data. The Medidata Genomics Sr. Director will be responsible for setting the future strategy for our Clinical Trial Genomics business and its commercialization, ensuring the timely and profitable development of the capability and delivery to customers. Your Commitments: • Coordinate cross-departmental go to market efforts of Clinical Trial Genomics solution. • Meet with customers and work closely with Data Science experts and leaders to integrate customer needs into CTG solution. • Oversee development of pricing strategy and implementation. • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to drive uptake of Clinical Trial Genomics solution with Medidata’s existing and new customers. • Coordinate and oversee effort to develop appropriate professional services packaging and pricing. • Oversee the development and management of KPIs and metrics to ensure the health of the business (pipeline, sales, revenue, etc.) • Assess and coordinate any opportunities for partnering with appropriate 3rd party organizations. ● Willingness to travel to customer locations both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time. Your Education & Experience: · Advanced degree in computational biology or bioinformatics, or equivalent work experience. · MBA or equivalent experience highly valued. · Experience in the life sciences industry with direct contact with teams involved in platform development, marketing, sales, service, and support. · Direct experience with genomics data and associated collection platforms, workflows, and analytics. · Ability to exert influence in a highly matrixed, cross-functional organization. · Experience with basic financial metrics and demonstrated ability to grow into a P&L management role.
