Data Analytics is at the core of our company we are seeking an exceptional talent to join our team. You will be a key contributor and critical to the success of the company. This is the job for you if want to be where your ideas to be central to a world-changing and lifesaving product.

We are developing new to the world diagnostic products using a revolutionary sensor paradigm. The main analysis tasks you are expected to contribute to are:

  • The development of image and signal processing algorithms to convert raw sensor signals into colorimetric time series vector data
  • The processing of high-volume, high-dimensional data streams generated in real-time from our proprietary sensor technology
  • Effective storage, management, and retrieval of high volumes of data
  • The development of data-driven visualization tools for the explorative analysis of high-dimensional sensor data
The challenges will be diverse as will be analytical and clinical studies. We are looking for a specialist that will assure the company is using cutting edge analytics concepts for the analysis of the sensor data. This is not the job for a numbers-only person. We want someone with a passion for and experience in the sciences that will lead you to look deeply into the sources of the data along with the scientists so that the data analysis is influenced by the science of our diagnostic technology and the science is influenced by the analysis.

High level qualifications for the successful applicant are:

  • A proven track record of successfully developing, validating and deploying re-usable analytical models to challenging real-world applications, ideally in the field of medical diagnostics
  • Deeply familiarity with a broad range of image and signal processing paradigms and are at the pulse of developments in the field
  • Comfort working with high-volume data sets and have experience with distributed computing environments
  • Enjoyment of new challenges, learning new things rather than a narrow routine of the same project, same meeting and same action item
  • Capability of adapting to the situation rather than relying on a fixed set of skills
  • Ability to judge and balance innovative vs. practical methods to achieve problem resolution.

You should have a track record of success in your education and projects and have these characteristics and skills:
  • A doctoral or master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Bioinformatics, Appied Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Biology or related field and at least 5 years of interesting relevant experience; understand it is not how many years but how much was done each year
  • Strong knowledge of image and signal processing algorithms
  • Expert proficiency in R and Python is a must
  • Deep knowledge of Object Oriented Development in C++ and/or C#/.net is required, along with the ability to translate algorithms developed in R/Python to C++ and/or C#
  • Additional knowledge in the field of high-performance computing and distributed computing is a plus
  • Proven track record of independent thinking & innovative approaches to problem solving.
  • Proficiency in SQL as well as NoSQL database technologies is a strong plus
  • Experience in the development of medical devices, evaluation of their diagnostic accuracy.
  • Proven ability of delivering informative and even innovative data visualizations – be prepared to provide visual samples
  • Full fluency (verbal and written) of the English language is a must.
* Salary range: $83,000 to $127,000
