Job Description:
The Salk Institute’s Center for Integrative Biology is seeking faculty members at all levels interested in studying complex interrelationships between living organisms and the physical and biological environments in which they live. We are seeking scientists from diverse disciplines (such as computer science, mathematics, physics, and engineering) to integrate theory and experiments on complex and thought-provoking scientific questions. Research areas of interest include, but are not limited to evolution and comparative genomics, epigenetics and gene regulation, bioimage informatics, RNA bioinformatics, biological networks and systems biology, human genetics, modeling, information processing and computation in biology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and strong record of research achievements.
