We are hiring a Bioinformatics Research Scientist in our Research and Development organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing of genetic, transcriptomics and epigenetics data (RNA-seq and gene expression arrays) including eQTL and meQTL analysis for downstream analysis.
- Application of knowledge-driven pathway analyses.
- Some involvement in systems biology/network analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Statistics around analysis methodologies and its application in research.

Basic Qualifications

- PhD or equivalent in medicine, biology, bioinformatics, computational or statistical sciences. Postdoctoral training in related areas with expertise in computational methods, tools and databases utilized in genomic and genetic data analysis.
- Experience in applying computational systems biology or integrative analysis approaches to facilitate interpretation and hypothesis generation from results of genetics, genomics and epigenetics studies.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

Demonstrated ability to lead projects in a cross-functional setting.

Familiarity with biological research related to Neuroscience.

Hands-on experience in analyzing data generated using one or more of the following genomic methodologies such as WGS, RNA-Seq, Microarray based Expression, micro RNA, DNA Methylation and Genotyping.

Expertise in a range of biological databases and experience with publicly and commercially available bioinformatics pathway/network analysis tools, genomics and genetics databases.

Bioinformatics programming skills in scripting or programming languages such as R, Perl, Python, C/C++ etc. and related bioinformatics packages.
